西北师范大学简介

Northwest Normal University (NWNU) is a key university jointly established by the Gansu Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Education. Its predecessor was the Normal School of the Metropolitan University, founded in 1902, and it was renamed Northwest Normal University in 1988. In 2020, the university was designated as a provincial university supported by Gansu Province to build a national first-class university.
NWNU is one of the first institutions authorized to grant bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. It currently has 12 first-level doctoral programs and 4 professional doctoral degree authorization categories, covering disciplines such as education, chemistry, history, and psychology. For master's programs, there are 28 first-level disciplines and 26 professional master's authorization categories. Four disciplines - Chemistry, Materials Science, Engineering, and Environmental Science/Ecology - have entered the top 1% of ESI global rankings.
The university has strong research capabilities and emphasizes the integration of industry, academia, and research. Humanities disciplines have distinctive characteristics in ancient literature, Dunhuang studies, and ethnic education, while natural sciences conduct in-depth research in polymer chemistry and fundamental mathematics. In recent years, the university has received nearly 800 provincial and ministerial-level research awards.
NWNU actively promotes internationalization strategies, establishing cooperative relationships with over 70 international and domestic universities and research institutions. 西北师范大学化学化工学院简介
化学化工学院是西北师范大学历史悠久、办学力量最强的学院之一。化学学科是甘肃省省属院校第一个进入ESI全球排名前1%的学科；2018年，材料学科进入ESI全球排名前1%；2021年，工程学科进入ESI全球排名前1%。化学、材料科学与工程以及化学工程与工艺均为甘肃省重点学科。
学院现有博士、硕士和学士三级学位点，有化学一级学科博士点和化学博士后流动站，现有化学、材料科学与工程和化学工程与工艺三个本科专业，化学专业为国家级特色专业、国家一流本科专业建设点，材料科学与工程为甘肃省一流本科专业建设点。

学院现有2个教育部重点实验室，2个教育部创新团队（滚动支持），2个甘肃省重点实验室，甘肃省国合基地、甘肃省工程实验室和研究中心各1个，1个甘肃省协同创新中心，3个甘肃省创新团队，1个沙产业研究院，1个西部资源应用研究院及2个校级研究所。近五年来，承担省部级以上科研项目200余项，其中国家自然科学基金75项，国家重大科研仪器研制专项1项，国家应急管理项目1项，中央引导地方科技发展专项2项，科技成果转化30余项，授权专利400余件，出版专著、教材等20余部，发表SCI论文近2000篇。

The College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering is one of the oldest and strongest colleges at Northwest Normal University. Chemistry was the first discipline in Gansu provincial universities to enter the top 1% of ESI global rankings in 2018, followed by Materials Science and Engineering in 2021. Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, and Chemical Engineering and Technology are all key disciplines in Gansu Province.
The college has three-level degree programs (bachelor's, master's, and doctoral) with a first-level doctoral program in chemistry and a postdoctoral research station. It offers three undergraduate programs: Chemistry, Materials Science and Engineering, and Chemical Engineering and Technology. The Chemistry program is a national characteristic specialty and a national first-class undergraduate program construction site.
The college has 161 faculty and staff members, including 138 full-time teachers, 43 professors, 78 associate professors, 43 doctoral supervisors, and 125 master's supervisors. It has received numerous national and provincial honors and awards.
The college possesses 2 Key Laboratories of the Ministry of Education, 2 Ministry of Education Innovation Teams, and various provincial-level research platforms. In the past five years, it has undertaken over 200 provincial-level research projects, including 75 National Natural Science Foundation projects, and has published nearly 2,000 SCI papers.
生态功能高分子材料教育部重点实验室简介
生态功能高分子材料教育部重点实验室2005年立项建设，2009年通过教育部组织验收，是西北师范大学获批的第一个教育部重点实验室。实验室于2023年顺利通过教育部重点实验室评估并获良好等级。实验室面向国家筑牢生态安全屏障重大需求，瞄准生态功能材料国际研究前沿，开展高分子功能材料与环境安全领域的创新研究，形成了以环境修复为主导的"环境修复高分子材料"、"环境友好高分子复合材料"和"改性天然及农用生态高分子材料"三个特色研究方向，发展了生态功能材料绿色合成、性能调控及应用研究体系，取得了一系列重要进展，为区域生态环境治理和经济社会可持续发展提供科技支撑和智力支持。实验室为学校化学、材料科学、工程学3个学科进入ESI全球排名前1%做出了突出贡献，已成为学校学科发展、人才培养、科技创新和服务社会的主力军之一。
在特色的生态功能材料及荒漠化防控研究方面，自主研制了7种土基生态功能材料，13项生态材料辅助生态修复技术，这些材料和技术应用到了不同环境领域。30多年来，实验室两代人先后带领100余名师生从事生态功能高分子材料研究，坚持把科研做在荒漠里，坚持生态(技术)公益，并将研究成果无偿提供给了近60家相关单位和企业，技术示范超过200万亩，提供技术服务面积达2284万亩。研究团队奔赴荒漠(沙漠)及其周边地区200余次现场培训、指导、示范和实施土基生态功能材料及荒漠化防控技术。实验室研发成果"黄土高原沟壑防控组合土障技术"入选2023年科技部发布的《国家绿色低碳先进技术成果目录》。
多年来，实验室坚持开放、流动、联合、竞争的运行机制，立足西部资源优势和环境现状，紧紧围绕西部生态环境热点问题，以保护和改善人民生存环境、扩展人民生存空间及维护国家生态和环境安全为目标，组织科技攻关，进行基础和应用基础领域的研究。面向未来，实验室将进一步凝练研究方向、完善人才队伍结构、加强软硬件建设，聚焦生态功能材料领域关键科学问题和国家区域需求，加快整合科技创新资源形成新质生产力，推动实验室建设迈上新台阶。

The Key Laboratory of Eco-functional Polymer Materials of the Ministry of Education was established in 2005 and passed the Ministry of Education's acceptance in 2009, becoming the first Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education approved by Northwest Normal University. The laboratory successfully passed the Ministry of Education's evaluation in 2023 with a "good" rating.
Facing the national major demand for building ecological security barriers and aiming at the international research frontier of ecological functional materials, the laboratory conducts innovative research in polymer functional materials and environmental safety. It has formed three characteristic research directions: "Environmental Remediation Polymer Materials," "Environmentally Friendly Polymer Composites," and "Modified Natural and Agricultural Ecological Polymer Materials."
In the field of ecological functional materials and desertification control research, the laboratory has independently developed 7 types of soil-based ecological functional materials and 13 ecological material-assisted ecological restoration technologies. Over the past 30 years, two generations of researchers have led over 100 teachers and students in ecological functional polymer materials research.
The laboratory's research achievement "Combined Soil Barrier Technology for Gully Control on the Loess Plateau" was selected for the "National Green and Low-Carbon Advanced Technology Achievement Catalog" released by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2023. The laboratory has made outstanding contributions to the university's three disciplines entering the top 1% of ESI global rankings.
